Nightsearcher launch makes light work of fishing in the dark

UK-based lighting expert NightSearcher has launched the LightWave RGB 650, a purpose‑built head torch designed around the real challenges of night fishing.
From baiting up in the dark to navigating slippery banksides without spooking fish, this product is said to be ideal for anyone fshing into darkness.
Delivering 650 lumens and an 80‑metre beam, the LightWave RGB 650 gives anglers the choice of a focused spot beam for rig work or a wide flood beam for setting up camp and scanning the water.
A hands‑free wave sensor allows the torch to be switched on or off with a simple gesture, ideal when handling bait, tying knots or landing fish.
The torch features specialist colour modes tailored for angling:
• Green light: Penetrates water more effectively than white, helping reveal underwater features and fish movement.
• Red light: Preserves night vision and provides discreet illumination that won’t disturb feeding fish.
• Blue light: Enhances line visibility and reduces surface glare, making it easier to tie rigs and monitor subtle water movement.
With multiple brightness levels and runtimes of 18 hours on white flood and 33 hours on red, the LightWave RGB 650 is built for long sessions.
A two‑hour USB‑C recharge keeps it ready for overnight trips, while the IPX5 water-resistant aluminium housing ensures durability in wet, muddy, and unpredictable bankside conditions.
