Gamakatsu keen to reel in sales expert

Hook and tackle manufacturer Gamakatsu is on the hunt for an experienced sales professional to help the company drive forward in the USA.
Based in Fife, Washington, the full-time assistant sales manager will be required to support the sales team in day-to-day operations, customer engagement and travel-based sales activities.
This role is designed as a growth opportunity, with the intention of training the right candidate to eventually take over key sales responsibilities.
Alongside helping manage customer accounts, preparing sales materials, and coordinating meetings, the successful candidate will represent Gamakatsu USA at trade shows, customer visits and product demonstrations.
They will also be expected to build strong relationships with customers, distributors and internal teams, learn and understand product lines, sales strategies and market positioning and participate in strategic planning and contribute to sales growth initiatives.
Candidates will require exceptional selling, communication and negotiating skills, a professional demeanour, will be interested in long-term career growth within sales and business development and be self-motivated, organised and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
They will also need strong written communication skills, primarily via email), proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel plus a minimum of two years’ experience in the tackle trade. Marketing writing skills would be a bonus.
