US Fly Fishing Show returns to Georgia in 2027

The Classic Center in Athens has been named the new home of the Georgia Fly Fishing Show when it runs on January 9th and 10th 2027, it has been announced.

The new Georgia show site features a 54,025 sq ft exhibition hall with adjoining theaters, restaurants and other amenities and is just part of the offering for next year’s series of popular events.

Fly Fishing Show president and CEO Ben Furimsky said: “The Athens Classic Center has everything needed for both exhibitors and show attendees. We will have ample room for fly tying and casting demonstrations and other classes, seminars, and how-to-do-it sessions.  Parking and all other services and facilities are absolutely top notch.

“Additionally, the faculty and staff of the 762 acre 42,000 student University of Georgia campus in Athens brings the Fly Fishing Show face to face with its core fly angler audience: males aged 40-60; college educated; $75,000-plus income; trout-focused; travels to fish and buys gear, books and guide trips.”
