Sonik seeks Hungarian sales manager

UK-based Sonik Sports, a fast-expanding tackle supplier across Europe, is planning further growth in Hungary and now needs a dedicated sales manager for the country.

Alongside its carp-fishing orientated brand Sonik, the business also has feeder fishing arm Nytro and the newly launched Skeater for predator

fishing.

The sales manager will be required to establish new accounts while servicing and supporting existing retailers in Hungary, alongside meeting individual and company sales targets, handling key accounts to identify their needs and create solutions to ensure a successful and smooth sales process and providing customers with accurate and detailed product information.

They will also need to provide weekly sales reports including territory analyses, offer fantastic customer service, including investigating and solving problems promptly and professionally, contribute to the team effort with good communication to the sales office and focus on goals, follow direction and work independently to get results as well as seek to grow the sales team further.

The ideal applicant should be passionate about fishing and especially knowledgeable about carp and feeder fishing, have an extrovert, commercial and “selling” attitude, with some sales experience, possess a proactive and self-driven mindset, be presentable with excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as being well organised and be computer literate with experience in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word as well as having a driver’s licence.

They will need to be able to work away from home for several days at a time and be able to communicate in English to a basic level.
