Ready to Experience The World of Fly Fishing?
Fly anglers and major brands will again be descending on the Event Forum Fürstenfeld in Germany for the annual Experience the World of Fly Fishing (EWF), on April 13th and 14th.
EWF welcomes representatives and visitors from more than 20 different countries, not just from Europe bot from across the world.
Top personalities give fly casting and fly tying demonstrations and instruction at two casting pools and the many meadows on site, with fly tyers and brands throughout the show halls.
Over 100 renowned exhibitors will showcase their fly fishing products again this year, covering products, materials, destinations waters, magazines, books and clothing, alongside art and craft workshops and, this year, a special exhibition on Atlantic salmon, an iconic species that suffers from climate change, pollution, fish farms and dams.
The Patagonia team offers no-cost repair of clothing of any brand, although not waders or wading shoes.
In addition, the German Open Championship in Fly Tying is also being staged for international competitors.
The Fürstenfeld Exhibition Center has a special charm thanks to its location in historic monastery grounds, which feature a magnificent Baroque church, the courtyards, gardens, and lovingly restored buildings.
The event is open on Saturday, April 13th from 9am to 6pm and on Sunday, April 14th from 9am to 5pm.
