Mercury rising with key appointments

Mercury Marine, a leader in marine propulsion systems and a division of Brunswick Corporation, has announced several leadership changes designed to support growth in key international markets.
Enrique Bolanos has been named general manager for Australia, New Zealand and Asia (APAC), replacing Brad Zoelle who was announced as Boston Whaler president.
This strategic appointment underscores Mercury’s ongoing commitment to developing world-class leaders internally and driving growth in key international markets.
Enrique transitions to the APAC region after four impactful years with Mercury’s Latin America organisation, where he most recently served as general manager for Latin America.
During his tenure, Enrique was instrumental in expanding market share and revenue, reflecting his proven leadership and dedication to excellence.
He said: “I am honoured to take on the role of general manager for Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. Mercury has a tremendous legacy of innovation and customer focus in the APAC region, and I look forward to working with our talented teams to further grow our business and serve our partners and customers.”
Prior to joining Mercury, Enrique held leadership positions with several global companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Abbott Vascular and Marriott. His diverse experience and track record of success will play a key role in elevating Mercury’s presence across the APAC markets.
Randy Caruana, Mercury Marine vice president Americas and APAC, added: “Enrique’s promotion highlights the strength of our talent pipeline and our commitment to developing outstanding leaders within Mercury.
“His ability to deliver results and foster strong relationships makes him the ideal leader as we continue to expand our footprint in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.”
As Enrique assumes his new role, Mercury also announced additional leadership changes to continue its momentum. Raquel Silva will succeed him as general manager for Latin America, bringing deep expertise and regional experience to her new position.
Raquel brings a strong track record from her recent role as sales leader for Latin America as well as her previous experience as finance leader for the region, based in Brazil.
