Cascade acquires key product lines

Fly fishing manufacturer Cascade Crest Tools used the IFTD Show in Denver, Colorado to not only unveil more products but also to announce the acquisition of Estaz and Ezee Bug.

One of the original pearlescent chenille designs, trademarked in 2001, Estaz continues to be a highly desirable, uniquely constructed product line known for its outstanding brightness and durability.

Cascade founder Pat Dunlap told TTW: “The unique range of size options – 10mm to 60mm diameters – includes 18 UV colours and melds seamlessly with Cascade’s expanding range of tying materials and innovative product line.”

Meanwhile, EZ Bug is a three-ply synthetic body material designed to make fly tying fast and easy.

Established in 1978, Cascade Crest Tools, is a long-standing innovator and manufacturer within the fly-tying industry.

The company’s private labelling service has been outfitting dealers and retailers for over four decades. The Estaz and Ezee Bug manufacturing acquisition signals Cascade’s move toward expansion and continued growth in 2020.
