All-terrain deal for Clam Outdoors
Since launching nine years ago, Clam Outdoors has continued to grow its line of ice fishing gear, Clam Pro Tackle and has recently been focusing on a transition to the open water market and sees the partnership with All-Terrain as a strategic move.
All-Terrain Tackle, with a growing range of bass jigs, has gained huge market exposure through its grass roots marketing and bass angling pros who have won literally hundreds of thousands of dollars in tournaments.
All-Terrain founder Steve Hauge said: “I started this brand 17 years ago because I wanted to create the best bass jig on the market, a unique bait that catches fish in any situation.
“With such a strong, loyal following, I wanted to keep that momentum going and continue to grow, so it made sense to partner with another tackle company that has that same reputation for integrity and quality products. Clam was that company.”
The merger will mean no major changes in the short term, revealed Clam president Steve Geertsen, who added: “We’re incredibly excited to have another high-quality brand join the Clam family of brands.
“Steve has done an amazing job with this line and, combined with our RD team, marketing initiatives and All Terrain Pros, we see great things on the horizon for All-Terrain customers.”
