Following the move of its manufacturing and distribution centre from Wales to Boston earlier this year, Marukyu, the world’s largest manufacturer of environmentally friendly and scientifically proven fishing baits, are restructuring their UK and European operations in order to adapt to both growing demand for existing and new product ranges.
Following on from a full review and valuable feedback received by traders through an independent customer survey, Marukyu have begun investing heavily in new product ranges and made major improvements to its manufacturing and distribution process. They have also welcomed a number of key employees to its UK division to ensure their customers are being looked after effectively and demand is being met.
Marukyu are pleased to welcome on board:
Chris Brown, Factory and Production Manager. As a top carp angler and bait manufacturer, Chris knows carp angling and bait production inside out and brings his manufacturing expertise and ingredient knowledge from working with Japanese bait scientists to Marukyu UK.
James Moore, Production. As a local match and coarse angler on the Lincolnshire scene, James brings to Marukyu his in-depth knowledge of fishing in the UK.
Andrew Green, Territory Manager. As a top carp angler with many huge fish to his name, and his wealth of sales knowledge in many sectors including angling, Andrew is on board to help take Marukyu to the next level.
Marc Rodger, Territory Manager. Marc is a top match angler with many wins to his name all over the UK and has great knowledge of match, coarse and lure fishing as well as previous experience in fishing bait trade.
Howard Kaye, National Sales and Marketing Manager, tells us what these changes mean for Marukyu:
“Following the move at the end of last year and listening to feedback from our stockists, we knew that improvements were vital to the success of Marukyu going forward. As well as developing new products and investing in our manufacturing process to improve its efficiency, we have welcomed a number of key employees to the Marukyu family who are already taking Marukyu to the next level in business growth.”.
