A NEW brand of top-quality Japanese torches and headlamps is being launched into Europe.

Exhibiting at EFTTEX 2010 for the very first time, Fuji Toki Co Ltd will be unveiling its ZEXUS range of torches and headtorches – but be warned… these things are brighter than the sun!

A shining example is the model shown here, the ZEXUS ZX-400.

Powered by three AAA batteries it uses just a 3W NICHIA LED – yet this produces an astonishingly bright 100 lumens of light.

The ZX-400 has a focus control – allowing the user to change the angle of the intense beam from eight through to 30 degrees. By using this light, you can see up to 100 metres.

The aluminium torch is supplied with a belt pouch and a lanyard – and importantly for anglers, it’s water resistant.

The complete range will be unveiled in Valencia in June – and from what TTW has seen, it will be in high demand. To book an appointment to see the firm at the show it is advisable to book ahead.
